KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Site Manager

  • This position is a hands-on management position responsible for the day-to-day management and operational excellence of the nominated sites and teams. 

  • Promote and lead a Safety Culture towards Zero Harm, ensuring adherence and compliance to all site and business safety requirements.

  • Interfacing with the Client and other stakeholders on coordination of activities, including the management of required documentation (work permit, SWMS, etc.)

  • Supervision and coordination of the activities by technicians and contractors, including supervision of compliance with all WHSE requirements

  • Ensuring all site and companywide KPI’S are met including all compliance inspections are completed as per requirements

  • Preparation of reports to the Client (Routine, ITP’s, progress, etc.)

  • Subcontractor and procurement management

  • Operational and Technical Project Management

  • Required experience: experience in the role of Site Manager on operational site is highly desirable, minimum 2 years in Operations and Maintenance experience of utility scale Solar or renewable projects (or transferrable experience)

  • Required qualifications: Electrical Qualification (Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics preferred) or other technical training to be evaluated, Electrical Licence for the relevant state (preferred), LVR/CPR certificate, First Aid certificate

Electrical Technician

  • Perform routine and advanced maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems; diagnose and resolve complex issues, repairing or replacing faulty components as needed.

  • Develop and implement maintenance SOPs, provide training, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior technicians, collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations, and assist with the installation of new systems and equipment.

  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance. 

  • Required experience: extensive experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation.

  • Required qualifications: Valid QLD electrical supervisors or contractor’s license, Valid Drivers licence, LVR/CPR current certificate, First Aid current certificate

  • FIFO Arrangements 

 

Vegetation Technician

  • In this role, you will participate in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. You will provide support to the site team and technicians while contributing to innovative projects within the renewable energy sector.

  • Support routine and advanced maintenance and inspections on electrical and mechanical systems and equipment; assist in the repair and replacement of faulty components and perform regular inspections to monitor performance.

  • Coordinate spare parts and material use, ensuring correct stock count; manage vegetation control and panel cleaning using both powered and non-powered equipment.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and stock count; provide support for emergency maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolutions.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

  • Required experience: Experience in similar role supporting electrical and mechanical maintenance, experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus, experience with mechanical systems used in solar farms (trackers, module cleaning)

  • Required qualifications: Trade certificate (or similar), Valid Drivers licence, High Risk Work Licences (boom lift, forklift, dogging, rigging, telehandler etc desirable)
