If you thrive in ambiguity, challenge orthodoxy, and care deeply about shipping meaningful software fast, we’d love to meet you.<h3>What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li>Build and refine data models and algorithms to drive decision-making for energy upgrades and electrification</li><li>Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering leads to deliver insights that previously took weeks—in seconds</li><li>Work across our platform, with a primary focus on the “Maiven Intelligence” layer: modeling, simulations, analytics, and logic</li><li>Dive into new methodologies and energy modeling paradigms—question assumptions, move fast, and iterate often</li><li>Leverage large structured and unstructured datasets, including AMI data and historical utility program insights</li></ul><h3>Who You Are</h3><ul><li>4–10 years of experience building and shipping production-grade software</li><li>Strong Python and data engineering background (Pandas, ETL, SQL, APIs, data modeling); comfortable working at the intersection of data science and software engineering</li><li>Experience with AWS, especially Lambda, S3, Athena, SageMaker, and related services</li><li>Working knowledge of TypeScript, NestJS, and React</li><li>Familiarity with AMI data, energy models, or adjacent domains (building science, HVAC, load curves, DERs) is strongly preferred</li><li>You’re not beholden to “how it’s always been done”—you care about impact, not convention.
