This specifically includes feasibility, Production Capacity<strong> </strong>Planning, Construction, and supporting of logistical planning. They will support cross-functional teams during the development and industrialization phases and drive sound business decisions throughout the product life cycle.</p><p><strong>You Will:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop manufacturing processes and layouts for efficient product flow</li><li>Develop specifications for custom equipment, i.e., RFQ and SOWs</li><li>Closely collaborate with external equipment integrators on custom automation equipment design</li><li>Validate and characterize new equipment and fixtures for production implementation</li><li>Create detailed manufacturing instructions to document new processes Design manufacturing equipment accessories</li><li>Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; and estimating future requirements</li><li>Manage internal Lucid Customers, assess needs regarding priorities, deadlines, and quantities, and driving suppliers for on-time deliverables</li><li>Track and manage equipment trials for SOP</li><li>Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external business partners, contractors, and vendors</li><li>Travel 25-50% to visit suppliers (US and International)</li></ul><p><strong>You Bring:</strong></p><ul><li>BS/MS Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience maybe considered in Lieu of a degree</li><li>5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience or 3+ years with a Masters Degree</li><li>Experience in Program Management / Engineering experiencing a high-volume manufacturing environment is needed</li><li>Tandem, progressive, blanking, and transfer stamping</li><li>Extensive aluminum Class A, BIW, and Closures experience with a focus on stamping manufacturing</li><li>Experience foreign suppliers</li><li>Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills</li><li>Working knowledge of current manufacturing techniques in a stamping manufacturing environment.
