Your focus will include implementing preventative maintenance programs, sustainable waste practices, and streamlined goods-in procedures, all while championing safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement across operations. Responsibilities   Maintenance: <ul><li>Enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime through continuous improvement of maintenance processes.</li><li>Develop and implement a comprehensive planned preventative maintenance program for all equipment.</li><li>Diagnose, test, and repair equipment, coordinating external services as needed.</li><li>Plan and implement calibration regime across key assets.</li><li>Organising and overseeing all audits required to comply with health and safety regulations.</li><li>Serve as the first point of contact for all maintenance issues.</li></ul>Waste Management: <ul><li>Develop and execute sustainable waste management procedures.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health and safety and internal waste audit regulations.</li><li>Coordinate the removal of various waste types as required by the business.</li></ul>Goods In: <ul><li>Implement efficient goods in processing to ensure timely order fulfilment.</li><li>Manage incoming shipments, stock storage, and quarantine processes for biological materials.</li><li>Handle repairs, returns, and exchanges for defective products.</li><li>Asset tagging and compliance with financial needs for incoming equipment. </li></ul>General Responsibilities: <ul><li>First point of contact for all on site contractors and suppliers.</li><li>Provide ground-level support across the site for operational issues.</li><li>Build strong relationships with stakeholders and assist with tactical issue resolution.</li></ul> Requirements Essential: <ul><li>Proven experience in operations, maintenance or waste management.</li><li>Experience or interest in diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions.</li><li>Understanding of equipment management systems or equivalent.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Knowledge of compliance with waste audit regulations. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul>Desirable:<ul><li>Additional certifications or training in maintenance management or waste management.</li><li>Knowledge of waste management practices including WEEE, Hazardous and MAQ waste streams. </li></ul> Closing date: Thursday 20th November </div>
