Running twice a year, the year-long programme works with a select group of high-potential career changers from a range of professional backgrounds, matching them to work with purpose-led organisations, and supporting them through inspiring learning and development.On Purpose is a verified People and Planet First social enterprise. We are based in London, near Euston, and also have offices in Paris and Berlin.<h2>About the role</h2>This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for a 14-week period, covering for a team member on sabbatical. The role has the following primary responsibilities:<ul><li>Create and support management of content across our digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email newsletters.</li><li>Working closely with the Communications &amp; Marketing Manager to implement and monitor the Associate Programme recruitment campaign.</li><li>Liaise with job boards to promote our Associate Programme.</li><li>Support the Head of Business Development &amp; Community’s and the Communications &amp; Marketing Manager’s B2B marketing strategies.</li><li>Social media management and monitoring.</li><li>Support and run logistics of both online and in person events, including an in-person induction week for a new Associate cohort.</li><li>With support of the System Administrator, managing technical updates to the Associate Programme application processes and user journey.</li><li>Maintain and improve the On Purpose website and manage social media advertising strategies.</li></ul>Like all members of the On Purpose London team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to wider strategic initiatives, and work in collaboration with On Purpose team members in other cities (Paris and Berlin). If you're skilled at communicating effectively and eager to apply your talents to support On Purpose's mission, we'd be excited to hear from you.Essential skills:<ul><li>Proven experience in communications or marketing (demonstrable through internships, professional or voluntary roles).</li><li>Strong communication abilities (copy-editing, proofing, verbal and written communications).</li><li>Proficiency in creating visually engaging content for various digital platforms, using tools such as Canva or similar.</li><li>Proficiency in managing and optimising social media platforms for business use.</li><li>Experience in Excel/Google Sheets.</li></ul><ul><li>Detail-oriented with a structured approach to work.</li><li>Ability to multitask and manage priorities across diverse stakeholders.</li></ul><ul><li>Comfortable using tech platforms.</li></ul><ul><li>Genuine interest in using business for good.</li></ul>Desirable skills:<ul><li>Degree in Communications, Marketing or English (or a similar field).</li><li>Familiarity using Canva, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Wagtail and Meta Ads.</li><li>Interest or experience in video content creation.</li><li>Web design skills.</li><li>Background in social enterprise or non-profit sectors.</li></ul>We are a community that welcomes diversity in all forms, from a wide variety of professional and personal backgrounds.
